The garden party is being held in the grounds of Hengrave Hall on Friday 22nd September, starting at 5pm. 

We're hoping for good weather but please dress for the conditions on the day. Cover will be available and if the weather is very poor we can move inside. 

We will have music provided by the wonderfully talented Scintillo string quartet; and later on Gary Nock (a regular feature at our garden parties) will be entertaining us once again. 

Food and drink will be available. Please indicate if you have any dietary requirements in your RSVP. 

Carriages at 11.30pm.

On the wedding day guests are asked to arrive at Hengrave Hall at midday and assemble in the courtyard. The ceremony will start at about 1.00pm. Following the ceremony there will be a champagne and canape reception, photographs and then the wedding breakfast in the long gallery. Please indicate any dietary or accessibility requirements in your RSVP. 

The evening reception starts at 7pm.

For the immediate wedding party and some family members accommodation is at Hengrave Hall. We have informed you directly if this applies to you. 

For all other guests accommodation is available at All Saints Hotel. We have confirmed rooms for those who have requested them. Friday night is at a subsidised cost of c.£70 per room and Saturday night is c.£120 per room. The rate includes breakfast. 

If you prefer to organise your own accommodation please feel free to do so. There are several hotels in and around Bury St Edmunds which is a short drive away. 

There are a few rooms still avaialbel at All Saints Hotel. If you haven't requested a room but would now like one please let us know asap. 

Hengrave Hall and All Saints Hotel are both accessible by car and have ample car parking available. Car parking does not incur any additional costs.

For those guests staying at All Saints Hotel we have arranged transport between the hotel and Hengrave Hall for the garden party and on the wedding day. On the Friday the shuttle service will run from All Saints Hotel from 4.30pm and return journeys as required until 11.30pm. On the Saturday the shuttle service will run from All Saints Hotel from 11.15am. There will be an opportunity to return from Hengrave Hall back to All Saints for a quick change if you wish between about 6.00-7.00pm. And then return journeys in the evening until midnight. 

Please note that it can very difficult to get taxis at short notice in Suffolk, even in Bury St Edmunds. 

If you plan to drive yourself between All Saints Hotel and Hengrave Hall it is only a 5-10 minute drive. 

The entrance to Hengrave Hall which will take you down the main drive way is signposted as the guest entrance, and the postcode is IP28 6LB.

You are strongly advised against walking between the venues as there is no public foot path along the national speed limit road. 

Please dress to impress throughout! It is not possible to be overdressed! 

Transport has been arranged between Hengrave Hall and All Saints Hotel after the wedding breakfast and before the evening reception for guests who are staying there and would like a costume change!

Whilst wedding gifts are not expected at we have a wedding gift list for anyone who wishes to make a purchase. The gift list is being provided by Wedgewood and is attached as a PDF document.
